Patio for two sun trap

The Brief

Clients had created an immaculate evergreen and traditionally patio'd garden.  They now wished for an injection of interest, colour and an invite to be part of the garden.

The Concept

To inject some life into a tired old regimented patio and create a new classy, extended and more interesting patio, leading onto a gravel planted walkway up to a secluded raised patio with surrounding trellis.

The clever use of russet hues in the sandstone pavers and a delightful brick edging provided sympathetic blend with the fabric of the house and created a seating area at the rear of the property and improved the view from the French Windows.  A curving gravel pathway leads the eye along and into the garden and onward to a raised patio again in natural stone.  A lattice trellis for background completes the look, perfect for sitting out on balmy summer evenings.

A final injection of lighting and the project was complete.
